TMT (Tread Mill Test)
A cardiac stress test is a cardiological test that measures the heart’s ability to respond to external stress in a controlled clinical environment. This test can be used to diagnose coronary artery disease (also known as ischaemic heart disease).
In certain cases, ischemic heart diseases cannot be diagnosed by ECG while the patient is at rest. Stress ECG (Tread Mill Test) is useful with high sensitivity and specificity for diagnosis of impaired blood flow to heart muscles.
At Future Diagnostics, we conduct this test as per statutory regulations, that is under constant supervision of an experienced cardiologist and technician.
